Chicago police commander is still employed despite facing criminal charges.

In a report on police misconduct payouts, ABC World News reported that Chicago police commander Glenn Evans is still employed despite the fact that he is currently facing “criminal charges for allegedly sticking a gun down the throat of” a man. According to ABC World News, there has been “more than 40 misconduct complaints” made against Evans and those complaints have “cost taxpayers $300,000 in settlements,” even though none of them were proven. ABC World News reports that he is currently “on desk duty awaiting trial.”
